Ratzlaff Construction is a full-service construction company with years of experience, an abundance of resources, and a proven track record. Fully licensed in both North and South Carolina, we provide turnkey services, overseeing every phase of the construction process for projects both large and small. Our work is exceptional; however, that’s not what sets us apart. Instead, it’s our process. It’s the way we do business. It’s the reason our clients come to us over and over again. With Ratzlaff Construction, you can expect a successful project every time—and you can count on integrity, accountability and transparency along the way.
We work to eliminate surprises through accurate estimating, value engineering, design review, and careful selection of trusted subcontractors and tradespeople.
Our design-build projects allow for a more streamlined, collaborative process between design and construction teams, minimizing change orders and other delays.
When exceptionally large projects are on the table, we partner with other respected construction groups to allow for a greater pool of resources and expertise.
Reliability & integrity from the ground up.
In an industry like commercial construction, where quality is a given, we believe the difference is in the experience. The way our clients are treated from beginning to end. We’ve built a reputation on integrity, always putting our clients’ needs above anything else. We treat their money as our own. We accept only the best for trades and beyond, partnering with those who have earned our trust and confidence. We do what we say we’re going to do. And everyday, with every project, we work to earn our clients’ trust—and earn their business—over and over again. We try to live up to the reputation we’ve earned. And no matter how large the project is, we never stray from our small-company philosophy: that there’s a right way and a wrong way to do business.
Thorough. Precise. Deliberate.
It’s the responsibility of every construction group to make safety a priority. Each member of the Ratzlaff team is OSHA-10 certified, but we’ve taken it a step beyond that by investing in a dedicated in-house Safety Director. Dan Hinson ensures safety on all of our jobsites, drawing on past experience with the Health and Safety Committee for the Carolinas’ Association of General Contractors (CGAC), the Safety and Risk Management Committee for the NC Utility Contractors Association (NUCA), and the Safety and Risk Management Committee for Wells Fargo Insurance Services. Dan is a graduate of the Association of General Contractors Safety Management Training Program, The OSHA Institute, and several advanced courses in the OSHA Standards for Construction from the United States Department of Labor.
